Entry: What do hippos have to do with Christmas anyway? Saturday, December 24, 2005

Well gang, the cookies have been baked, the bags

(and boxes... and tupperware containers...) are packed,

and it's almost time to head on home for the holidays.

I have a full day of work tomorrow, and then I have a

fun-filled 8 hour drive to Regina. This year my brother

is tagging along for the ride, so I will have to keep my

singing to a bare minimum I suppose. The last trip we took

back to Regina together, he smoked up 6 times!!! In 8 hours!!!

To say the least, my brother and I have always been

somewhat estranged. Good thing I borrowed those learn to

speak Czech cd's from the library. Maybe we can bond over

a new language! Ha ha!

I'm nervous about going home. I can't wait to see my family

though. Especially when yet again, it is decided that

Autumn does indeed buy the best Christmas presents. I'm

also looking forward to eating meals that do not in any

way contain zoodles. I think I went insanely overboard

with my Christmas baking this year. Last night I was up

until 4am baking!!! My new psychiatrist is right - I am

obsessive compulsive in my own funny little way.

Anyhoo... to those of you who read this regularly, you have no

idea how much all of your funny little comments mean to me!

Have a very merry Christmas and the happiest of holidays!

Love, Autumn

Merry Christmas Autumn!! Hope the drive home was full of Christmas cheer and bonding time with your bro.

I never would have coined you as an obsessive-compulsive. Hey, did I tell you that my shrink says I'm a compulsive liar? Hahaha.
